Programming in 2024

Artificial Intelligence is the biggest threat to you right now. Not, some other framework, or some other person's fancy, or not so fancy (as in my case), solution.

The question is, not if programming will be rendered obsolete, but more when.

However, it's not all doom and gloom. We have a quite some time frame, maybe of a few years where I think programming will be at its peak and your skills will still be needed by various companies.

Right at this moment, being a programmer is in high demand, and AI still can't confidently do what a well seasoned programmer can.

If you're thinking of getting involved in this space, now is a pretty damn good time to start. And I happen to think PHP affords a really solid starting point.

So pick up PHP, choose your framework and start tinkering. Enjoy the ride while you still can.
